Energy regulators from across the region have converged in Lilongwe, Malawi, for a crucial meeting aimed at harmonizing energy regulations and sharing best practices.
The Regional Energy Regulatory Association (RERA) Subcommittee Meetings, which kicked off today at the Bingu International Convention Centre, bring together representatives from Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, and Angola.
Over the next four days, delegates will engage in intense discussions on key areas such as consumer protection, finance, and human resources. The meetings are expected to culminate in steps outlining the region’s commitment to enhancing energy regulation and cooperation.
