Philimon Kamanga is the Project Coordinator for the Intra-African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Global Climate Change Alliance Plus (GCCA+) ProgrammeHe has more than eight years’ experience in the renewable energy sector specifically projects targeting off-grid rural communities. Prior to joining SACREEE, he worked as a Programme Coordinator for the Energising Development (EnDev), a global multi-donor programme for energy access implemented by the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) in Malawi. He also worked with United Purpose (UP) and Renew "N" Able Malawi (RENAMA) as a Coordinator of various renewable energy projects in rural communities of Malawi. His skills include the development of sustainable decentralised renewable energy systems, clean cooking, climate change adaptation, youth and women empowerment and energy auditing. He holds an MSc in Management Studies (Development Administration) and a BSc in Renewable Energy Technologies from Mzuzu University.
