Asteria Markus is a Project Support Officer under the Energy Efficient Lighting and Appliances Project which is being implemented in SADC and East Africa Community (EAC).  She is also supporting   gender mainstreaming and diversity aspects of other projects such as SOLTRAIN as a Gender Manager. She has more than 15 years’ experience in local government, corporate and international development sectors. She previously worked for the Delegation of European Union in Namibia as a Senior Secretary responsible for events and document management.  Asteria is a certified Energy Policy Officer with a Master in Global Energy Transition and Governance and a BSc (Hons) in Business Information Technology.
